Promiseland

Sundays, 8:30 and 10:30 a.m., all year

Children in preschool through middle school participate in Promiseland, our faith-nurturing ministry that takes place during Sunday morning worship services. The children gather for opening activities and games, followed by big-group worship and music, and then small groups in which they study a Bible story or lesson.

All of our Promiseland groups use curriculum published by Faith Alive Christian Resources. The children at the 8:30 service use Kid Connection, the children at the 10:30 service use Walk With Me, and our 6th-8th graders study a deeper faith-and-doctrine course called Dwell. Our children learn all the major stories of the Bible from a simple telling for the little ones to a heart-head-hands application for the older children.

During the summer and in December, the children worship with the adults for the first part of the service and then are dismissed to Promiseland. We are grateful for a big team of volunteer teachers who invest in the faith nurture of our children and youth!
