GEMS & Moms Camp

Every spring, the Rosewood GEMS & Moms head to camp for a week-end of worship, fun, learning about God, and building relationships.

This year our GEMS & Moms Camp will be held from May 5 - 7, 2017, at Victory Ranch near Moreno Valley (http://www.vranch.org/vrlive/index.php).

Serve Saturday

Serve Saturdays are a tangible way to "Bless Bellflower" by doing some sprucing up, painting, yard clean-up, and other improvements for people in our community who have gone through a tough time or are unable to do it themselves.

Serve Saturdays begin with coffee and donuts at 7:30 a.m., followed by a morning of work that ends around 11:30 a.m. It's a good idea to bring your work gloves and any tools you think will be helpful!

Stay tuned for the next Serve Saturday date.

Camp Dunamis

Every summer at Camp Dunamis, Rosewood middle schoolers join approximately 150 youth from other churches in southern California, New Mexico and Arizona, for a week of fun, sun, and spiritual growth. Rosewood welcomes any youth who will be entering 7th, 8th or 9th grade in the fall of 2017, to be part of this wonderful summer-camp experience.

To find out more, please visit campdunamis.org.

Camp Dunamis has been around for over 25 years and is held in the mountains in Idyllwild, California.  Camp Dunamis was originally birthed out of a two-fold vision, which we still adhere to today. The first goal is to help our middle school youth know Jesus Christ and develop a personal relationship with him.

The second goal is to help youth identify and weed out the seeds of racism in their own lives.  Each year we have campers from approximately 15 different cultures of origin. We place our campers in cabins, teams and worship groups that cross ethnic/cultural lines. They learn to respect and love each other by living, playing and worshipping together, and by following the Christian example and teachings provided by the speakers, directors and counselors.
